Order focus: Exosun supplies 66 single-axis trackers to 12MW plant in central France

PV power plant tracking specialist, Exosun is supplying 66 horizontal single-axis solar trackers to La Compagnie du Vent, GDF SUEZ Group for a 12MW plant in central France.

The PV power plant will be installed over 43.2 acres near the city of Tulle, in the Corrèze region, and is expected to produce 14,355 MWh per year, corresponding to the annual electricity needs of 8000 people.

Exosun said that it would also support the project in the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance phases in order to ensure optimal tracker performance and maximal plant production. Exosun will also provide its client with tracker installation and O&M trainings for its ‘Exotrack’ HZ tracking system.

Tracker installation is expected to start in April 2015 with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.

Exosun is also offering its ‘Exotrack’ HZ horizontal single-axis tracker with an intelligent patented backtracking process, called ‘SMARTracking’. Exosun’s Exotrack HZ will be on display at Solar Power International (SPI 2014), held October 21-23 in Las Vegas.
