REC launches certification scheme for installers in Philippines

Module manufacturer REC Solar has launched a certification scheme for installers in the Philippines.

Five installers have been signed up to the scheme for its inauguration. The Philippines’ Department of Energy (DOE) has recently set a requirement for all solar installers to regularly update their skills through formal training sessions.

They can now provide their customers with high-quality installations backed by excellent technical and safety expertise, with the assurance of REC’s high performing solar panels,” she added.

Panels installed under the REC Solar Professional Program will also have two additional years added to their warranty and installers will be offered additional sales and marketing support.
