The Metallization & Interconnection Workshop (MIW) unites since 2008 industry and academic experts and specialists from all over the world to discuss the latest status, trends and new directions in the field of metallization and interconnection for crystalline silicon solar cells. We were hoping to welcome you this year to the 9th edition, MIW2020 in Genk, Belgium, but we had to change our plans. This year you will experience a virtual edition of the workshop, which will combine of scientific presentations with breaks for informal exchange and networking. We are looking forward to welcome you to exciting talks and discussions on October 5-6.
We are dedicated to making sure this year’s digital experience reflects the identity of the EU PVSEC: The leading platform for the global PV community is to meet and discuss new ideas and concepts and share inspiration. We are currently working on an interactive experience that will focus on live presentations and interaction, including live networking and exhibition features. Details of the full range of virtual interaction options and presentation formats will be communicated very soon once they are finalised. An online event brings a lot of opportunities for new ways of knowledge sharing and networking. We are certain that these innovations will not only benefit this year’s event but also in-person conferences in the future.
