Canadian firm Fengate Capital Managemangent has reached financial close on a 7MW PV project in Ontario.
The Sunningdale solar project is being developed by Recurrent Energy and will be built near the Ontario city of London.

The project already has a 20-year power purchase agreement under the Ontario power authority’s feed-in tariff programme and is expected to generate 12,213MWh of power annually.
The Sunningdale Solar Project is currently under construction and is expected to reach its commercial operation date in May 2014.
Ontario is aiming to source half its generating capacity from renewables by 2025.
