Tometich, who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Northwestern University, arrives at Hemlock from Dow Corning, where he worked for 22 years and most recently served as business vice president of strategic feedstocks for the company’s Core Products Business. He has served on Hemlock Semiconductor’s board of directors since 2010.

“Rick’s [Doornbos] leadership during this period of unprecedented growth has driven Hemlock Semiconductor into a new era,” Tometich said. “I am eager and privileged to have the opportunity to work alongside Rick and the entire Hemlock Semiconductor team.”
