According to a report by CPVT on outdoor module degradation, Astronergy’s ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules have achieved an impressive first-year degradation of only 0.66%, significantly lower than the industry average of 1%.

Featuring advanced double AR coating glass and a higher bifaciality rate, the company’s n-type TOPCon modules optimize light absorption while minimizing reflection loss, thus ensuring maximum efficiency. Moreover, with a temperature coefficient of -0.29 degrees Celsius, the modules show minimal heat loss, delivering outstanding power generation performance.

After more than one year of outdoor sunlight exposure from September 2022 to November 2023 at the CPVT testing station in Yinchuan, north-west China, the lowest degradation was 0.53%, with the highest degradation of the 9 modules tested 0.79%, resulting in an average degradation of 0.66%.

As one of the first companies in the industry to achieve mass production of TOPCon modules, Astronergy remains committed to providing high quality, reliable products, with TOPCon representing 91% of the 76GW of modules produced by the company during 2024.
