Chinese manufacturer BAJ Solar has commissioned a 10GW TOPCon cell plant in Yangzhou.
Construction of the plant, covering an area of some 400 acres, was completed in August at a total cost of 2.6 billion yuan.
Chairman Chen Jiansong commented that the plant’s commissioning is official confirmation of the company’s entry into the PV industry and that, moving forward, BAJ Solar will further strengthen its industrial chain and product R&D.
