Trina Solar has published its financial results for 2022 and Q1 2023, showing annual revenue of $12.645 billion (RMB 85.052 billion), an increase of 83.41% on 2021, with the company’s main businesses all displaying strong growth.
Module shipments in 2022 totalled 43.09GW with cumulative shipments exceeding 140GW as of the end of March 2023.
According to analysts, cumulative shipments of 210mm modules exceeded 120GW in the first quarter of the year, with Trina Solar products accounting for over 65GW, ranking it first with a market share of more than 50%.
The company continues to invest heavily in technological innovation, obtaining 173 new patents last year, its current total standing at 1,159.
Trina Solar is a regular recipient of recognition from respected international organisations. It has scored 100% in the BNEF Bankability Survey for the past seven years and has also achieved the highest AAA ranking in the PV Tech ModuleTech Bankability Ratings report for the most recent four quarters.
