JA Solar has announced that its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro module has been awarded the highest A+ rating certificate in China General Certification Centre (CGC) ‘Frontrunner’ plus cold climate field testing.
Testing began in 2023 in Mohe, the location of the northernmost of China’s PV experimental bases. Exposed to the harsh cold weather for almost one year to date, the DeepBlue 4.0 Pro has been able to withstand challenges including extreme low temperatures (-45.3 ℃) and snow thickness of up to 20 cm, and still operate effectively, with test results showing no obvious abnormalities in EL imaging.
The product’s A+ rating certification is among the first batch issued by the CGC in its PV Forerunner Plus evaluation system and underlines JA Solar’s continued leading position in the global industry.
