JinkoSolar has announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Under the UNGC, signatories are encouraged to align their operations and strategies with key principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

“We are proud to be a signatory company of the UNGC. At JinkoSolar, we have a culture of equality, transparency and accountability,” commented Mr. Xiande Li, the company’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer.

JinkoSolar treats all employees and partners across its business and operations with dignity and respect, committed to ensuring that every one of its many global locations provides a safe and respectful environment for each individual.

JinkoSolar was also the first solar company to join the RE 100, dedicating its innovation and expertise to the tasks of conserving water, electricity, raw materials and recycling, sharing its road map to inspire partners and industry peers to join its environmental journey.
