JinkoSolar has achieved a new milestone in solar efficiency with its independently developed N-type TOPCon modules, certified by TÜV SÜD to have a maximum conversion efficiency of 25.58%. In addition, its 182N-type monocrystalline silicon cell (TOPCon) has been verified by the National Photovoltaic Industry Metrology and Testing Center to have a full-area conversion efficiency of 27.02%.
The efficiency breakthroughs are due to advanced technologies including metallization laser enhancement, high-quality emitter passivation and local absorption passivation contact on the cell side, as well as key innovations including integrated film graphic technology, SMBB ultra-multi-main grid technology and reflective film technology on the module side.
Looking ahead, the company plans to upgrade over 40% of its production capacity this year and establish 40-50GW of high-power TOPCon capacity by year end. The latest high-efficiency TOPCon capacity can achieve a maximum power of 670W, with a module efficiency of up to 24.8% and a bifaciality of 85%, offering a 10% premium over traditional TOPCon products. Based on continuous innovation in N-type TOPCon mainstream technology and existing capacity upgrades, Jinko is well-positioned to accelerate industry capacity clearance, support “anti-involution” and promote sustainable long-term development.
