JinkoSolar has announced the signing of a 50MW order for its latest Tiger Neo N-type TOPCon modules with REEPRO, one of Vietnam’s largest EPCs. The 72HC modules will be installed on C&I rooftops, with the first batch arriving in Vietnam at the end of July.
Aroon Jiamkasemnit, head of sales for JinkoSolar APAC and Nguyen Chi Toan, director of REEPRO, were the signatories of the contract and went on to discuss future cooperation between the two parties during the signing ceremony.
Nguyen Chi Toan commented: “We are very happy to be the first company in Vietnam to procure N-type modules. We chose JinkoSolar Tiger Neo N-type modules not only because Jinko is the first manufacturer to bring this technology to market, but also because N-type TOPCon technology can maximize IRR due to its high-efficiency. We are looking forward to receiving the first batch of modules next month and we believe that N-type will become the mainstream for the Vietnamese market during 2023.
Anita Li, JinkoSolar general manager for APAC, added: “Vietnam is one of the fastest developing countries in the world, and one which also incorporates solar energy as a major resource in its power system. We are very happy to see REEPRO, one of the country’s leading EPCs, taking responsibility for supporting the transition of solar technology from PERC to N-type TOPCon and we look forward to further cooperation in this area in the near future. JinkoSolar is committed to providing its customers with the latest technology to support solar development in Vietnam.”
