KSTAR has exhibited at the 10th edition of Solar Africa in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, showcasing its portfolio of residential energy solutions tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the East African solar market.
With the region experiencing rapid growth in solar adoption, driven by frequent grid fluctuations, increasing electricity demand and ongoing efforts to improve energy access, the need for reliable and adaptable inverters and energy storage systems has become more critical than ever.
At the heart of KSTAR’s display was its Home Series, an all-in-one residential energy storage system integrating top-tier lithium cells. Built with an emphasis on ease of use and long lifecycle performance, the system is engineered to support households under the diverse environmental conditions typical of East Africa, offering stable power even during outages or limited electricity access.
The company also highlighted two solar inverter series. The ‘Knight’ Series supports multiple battery types and offers intelligent fast charging up to 120A, with the ‘BluE’ Series offering a high maximum PV voltage of 1100V and IP66 protection, making it well suited to withstand the dust and heat common in the region’s climate, while supporting large-capacity PV panels.
While not physically displayed, the ‘BluePulse’ Series portfolio was also the subject of significant attention from visitors. This all-in-one C&I ESS system offers scalable capacity from 197 to 233 kWh and supports expansion up to 20 units in parallel for on-grid applications and up to 6 units for off-grid setups, allowing adaptation to diverse customer needs, from microgrids to larger commercial installations. Built with CATL lithium battery cells and backed by a 10-year performance warranty, the BluePulse series ensures safety and longevity.
