The Sustainability Leaders list identifies 50 individuals from around the globe who are setting the pace for a just and sustainable economy and defining contemporary climate leadership. Those honoured this year come from government, academia and the business world, each having set new benchmarks for global sustainable development in their respective fields.
Guided by its sustainable development mantra of “Affordable for All,” LONGi has driven down the levelized cost of electricity through continuous technological innovation, while expanding diverse application scenarios. Since its listing in 2021 to the end of 2024, the company has cumulatively shipped over 500GW of photovoltaic silicon wafers, contributing to a global reduction of more than 1.2 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. By providing reliable and affordable products and solutions, it continues to leverage green technology to support the global energy transition and promote a just transition in the energy sector.
