LONGi VP Dennis She has met with Atadet Azarak Mogro, Permanent Secretary of the Central African Power Pool (CAPP), and Rigobert Gbazi, Head of its Power Technology Department, reaching a consensus on leveraging efficient PV solutions to accelerate the popularization of electricity in Central Africa, thereby eliminating energy poverty.
The Central African Power Pool (CAPP) is a regional electricity cooperation organization, composed of 11 Central African countries, aiming to coordinate and promote the development of energy infrastructure and power interconnection in the region.
VP She provided a detailed introduction to LONGi’s development history and technological innovation capabilities, stating that, as a globally leading green energy technology company, it is committed to driving global energy transformation and energy equity through technological innovation. Photovoltaic power generation holds significant advantages in construction speed, enabling it to meet the electricity demands of remote areas at lower cost and in shorter timeframes, making it an ideal solution for addressing energy accessibility issues.
For remote villages where grid coverage is challenging, both parties plan to achieve rapid electricity coverage through the deployment of off-grid and microgrid solutions. This model targets villages with populations ranging from a few hundred to several thousand, constructing efficient, independent and reliable PV power generation systems to directly meet the basic living, educational, medical and productive electricity needs of communities.
The meeting marked a new phase in LONGi’s cultivation of the African market. Moving forward, the company will continue to leverage its leading Hi-MO series modules and one-stop solutions to collaborate with African countries and regional organizations, accelerating global energy equity and green sustainable transformation.
