LONGi, the world leading solar technology company, has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Reon Energy Pakistan to supply 70MWp of Hi-MO 5 540/545Wp modules for its project clusters.

The project owner is a leading cement group, with the 70MWp project being divided into 4-5 ground-mounted clusters at its different production sites. The project is scheduled to commence operations from the third quarter of 2021 and, once completed, is expected to be the largest commercial PV application in Pakistan.

Reon Energy will act as EPC for the project. The company has extensive experience and is one of only a few companies able to build large-scale solar facilities for industries throughout Pakistan.

LONGi was selected as exclusive module supplier for what is Reon’s largest project to date. After careful evaluation and analysis, Reon chose its Hi-MO 5 series modules,  which offer the highest efficiency and reliability. Compared with other products available on the market, the Hi-MO5 series can reduce BOS costs by over US$0.01/Wp and project land usage by around 5%, maximizing an EPC’s profit margin.
