LONGi has announced that it has been recognized as an ‘Industry Mover’ in the second China specific edition of S&P Global’s 2024 sustainability yearbook, underlining the company’s achievements in promoting sustainable development and green energy innovation.
S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) covers sustainability assessment standards across 62 different industries. It quantifies the information disclosure and performance in a number of areas related to the environment, society, governance and economy, reflecting the level of corporate sustainability management achieved. The report includes a detailed assessment of over 1,700 Chinese companies, with only 39 awarded special recognition.
Focusing on its green supply chain, LONGi took the step of introducing a ‘supply chain green partner empowerment’ program, in order to work with collaborators to advance energy-saving and emission-reduction goals, and receiving recognition in the S&P yearbook is testament to the company’s long standing commitment to the sustainable development of its business.
