The Sedex Supply Chain Awards are globally recognised accolades in the field of sustainable development, particularly focusing on supply chain dimensions. They aim to recognise and encourage outstanding contributions and innovations by companies, organizations and individuals in environmental and social aspects of supply chains. This year’s awards attracted nearly 200 entries from businesses and individuals across more than 20 industries. Twelve experts and scholars in supply chain due diligence conducted the evaluation, ultimately selecting 31 winners across nine award categories.
In its citation, the Sedex committee highlighted that LONGi has demonstrated an outstanding sense of social responsibility in its supply chain, integrating it into its core strategy, with social objectives within the supply chain aligned with the Group’s sustainable development management framework. Through systematic initiatives, LONGi has achieved quantifiable results, including improvements in supply chain compliance, fully reflecting its role as an industry benchmark in sustainable supply chain management. The company’s social responsibility and sustainable procurement management system project focuses on labour rights, occupational health and safety and sustainable supply chain objectives, its ESG/CSR processes and operational practices being consistent with internationally recognized standards and benchmarks, helping to optimize internal management, reduce risks and gain the trust and recognition of customers and broader stakeholders.
