ReneSola has announced plans for a new cell and module base in Yancheng, Jiangsu province, at a total investment of 5 billion yuan. Construction will commence in March, with operations scheduled to begin in July. Capacity will be 5GW and 10GW for cells and modules respectively.
The company, with cumulative global module shipments of over 25GW, plans future expansion of capacity in several domestic locations in China, plus North America.
