Cell manufacturer SolarSpace has announced the inauguration of the first phase of a 16GW TOPCon cell factory in China’s Anhui province, with the installation and commissioning of the latest cutting-edge production equipment. This marks a significant milestone for the company in migrating to high-efficiency N-type technology, maintaining its position as a market leader in technology and lean manufacturing.
The first phase of the project will see the establishment of 16 production lines, which will generate an annual capacity of 8GW of large-size TOPCon cells, with SolarSpace launching its high-efficiency TOPCon modules in early 2023.
