Suntech has announced that the first 500,000-kW PV unit for a project in Hebei Province constructed by Beisheng Group subsidiary Zhangbei Hengfeng New Energy, partially deploying its 555W and 550W high-efficiency modules, has been connected to the grid. The project has a total installed capacity of 500MW, at a total investment of some RMB 2.9 billion.
