
Trinasolar International Systems Business Unit (ISBU), the global project development arm of Trinasolar, has announced the official signing of a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with its strategic partner AdventEnergyfora 49.9 MWac / 60.21 MWp project in Mabini, Luzon Island in the Philippines.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives of both companies, with the Mabini project having been granted Green Lane Certification by the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) and representing the ISBU’s first greenfield development in the country. The project is scheduled to begin commercial operations in late August 2026 and, once operational, it is expected to generate 110.84 GWh of renewable electricity in its first year, equivalent to the annual energy consumption of over 24,000 households, while eliminating 76,549 tons of CO₂ emissions.
“The Mabini project shows what can be achieved through strong cooperation between AdventEnergyand Trinasolar,” commented ISBU Southeast Asia country maager Derek Wang. “Together, we are advancing the Philippines’ renewable energy goals and creating lasting value for local communities.
