
Trinasolar has been ranked in first position in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Solar Module Manufacturer rankings for H1 2025, underscoring widespread recognition of its industry leadership.

The Wood Mackenzie report evaluates 38 major global PV module manufacturers from a buyers’ perspective, the assessment covering ten key dimensions, including technology maturity, research and development and availability of third-party certifications, Trina being one of only two manufacturers to excel in nine out of the ten evaluated criteria.
As an early mover in n-type technology, the company continues to lead the TOPCon pathway, backed by mature, large-scale delivery of high-efficiency modules, its investment in R&D in the first three quarters of 2025 reaching RMB 3.207 billion, accounting for 6.42% of its revenue.
