Trinasolar’s Yiwu base has seen its current zero-carbon factory certification upgraded to five-star following auditing by the Ti Group, marking the company’s third consecutive annual upgrade.

Head of Trina’s EHS department Zhang Hongzhi commented:. “We are delighted to see our Yiwu factory once again receive an upgraded zero-carbon factory certification. Trinasolar has always been an active advocator in ESG and sustainable development. We have made steady, step-by-step progress—advancing from three to four star, and now to five-star recognition. We hope our experience can offer a replicable and scalable zero-carbon model for the solar and energy storage industry and beyond.

By converting its ESG principles into practice, Trinasolar has enhanced energy efficiency at its Yiwu base through continuous improvements in energy management and equipment upgrades. As a result, carbon emissions (tCO₂e) have been reduced by 27.21%, enabling the site to achieve a 100% offset of direct and energy-related indirect emissions.
