Zorlu Energy has become the exclusive distributor for Ginlong Technologies’ ‘Solis’ inverters in Turkey’s commercial, industrial and utility sectors, following the signing of a supply chain service agreement with C&D Clean Energy for the sale of string inverter technology and accessories in the country.
The arrangement will enable Zorlu Energy to respond quickly to the domestic demands of both C&I rooftop and ground mounted power plant projects in Turkey, Solis’ innovative products paving the way for enhanced cost effectiveness and improved return on investment.
Zorlu Energy deputy general manager for foreign investment, Evren Evcit, commented: “As Zorlu Energy, we manufacture high-end, quality solar panels under the Zorlu Energy Solutions (ZES) brand. As a company drawing almost all its power from renewable energy, in 2017 we became the sole distributor for First Solar’s high-performance thin film modules in 26 countries and we believe that our cooperation will Solis for the inverter market will enable us to replicate the success achieved in the module segment.”
