The FiT/microFiT schedule for 2014, published 1 November retains 20-year FiT rates, for rooftops up to 10kW, at CA$0.396 per kWh, for 10-100kW at CA$0.345 and 100-500kWh systems at CA$0.329.

For non-rooftop installations the rate is set for 0-10kW systems at CA$0.291 per kWh; for 10-500kW it is CA$0.288.

Bonuses for Aboriginal, community and public sector projects are still awarded in addition to FiT rates.

The next FiT process review will be at the end of 2014, effective as of the 1 January 2015.

The FiT programme has an installation target for both 2014 and 2015, for 50MW installed in the MicroFiT programme (0-10kW). The SmallFiT (10-500kW) has a 150MW target. The micro and smallFiT is not available to projects over 500kW.

The OPA is now accepting applications for projects of 10-500kW. The application deadline is 13 December 2013.
