Order Focus: Suntech supplies 25MW of modules for Romanian projects

Chinese manufacturer Suntech is to supply 25MW of polycrystalline solar modules to Italian EPC SunSystem for two PV projects in Romania.

The two plants, which are expected to be grid connected by next year, will use Suntech’s STP 245-20/Wd modules, which are said to offer up to 15% efficiency.

They will be developed by RoEnergy, a SunSystem company in Romania, and SunSystem will operate the plants once they come on line. They are expected to generate up to 30,000MWh of electricity a year.
