With grid availability, plenty of land and a new contracts for difference scheme that is set to go live this year, Romania is proving an increasingly attractive market for solar developers. Lena Dias Martins finds out more.

French energy company TotalEnergies has sold most of its climate venture capital (CVC) arm, TotalEnergies Ventures, to French VC firm Aster.

Emeren Group – a global solar PV developer – has sold its 58MW Polish solar portfolio to Spectris Energy. The projects were sold ‘ready to build’, and Spectris will handle construction and own the projects long-term.
