Former managing board member Scott Landstrom has been selected by the Direct Grid Technologies board as the company’s new CEO. Guy Ward, the previous Direct Grid CEO, will take on the role of executive chairman. A 25-year veteran of senior executive leadership, Landstrom previously worked at Lam Research as the VP of global field operations with prior executive experience coming from his time as president of Volex.

“I am delighted to be assuming a more intensive operational role with Direct Grid, given its disruptive and highly differentiated value‐add technology”, stated Landstrom. “There are solid reasons why the micro‐inverter segment has been growing at triple digit CAGR’s for the past few years, and the DG solution is uniquely suited to serve both commercial/industrial and utility application segments better than any competitor. I applaud the progress made by Guy Ward and the team to this juncture, and am confident I can help lead Direct Grid to the next levels of commercial adoption and explosive growth.”
