Sixtron’s equipment to go under the hammer

Auctioneer and appraisal company CIACPCC has publicized the upcoming one-day equipment auction for the assets and equipment contained within Sixtron’s Dorval (Montreal), Quebec facility in Canada. Running in conjunction with Asset Reliance International and Upstream Value Group, the webcast equipment auction will feature more than US$1.5 million worth of original equipment for solar manufacturers.

The auction is said to include a Roth & Rau AK400 and SEMCO PECVD, PV Measurements’ IV PV Tester and IQE & Reflectivity measurement system, a Varian 220 Mass Spectrometer, and various analytical, laboratory and facility equipment.

“This webcast auction event represents a tremendous buying opportunity for PV and solar companies both large and small looking for quality equipment at auction prices”, said Don Cowan, managing director of the event.

Taking place on Tuesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. ET, the auction will see the opening of the Sixtron Facility’s doors in Dorval, with auction items being made available for preview and inspection at the same location on Monday, March 14th.
