Germany installed more than 5GW of new solar capacity in the first four months of this year, according to trade association BSW Solar.

Germany commissioned more than one million new solar power projects in 2023, according to the Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft (BSW).

BSW forecasts a “double-digit percentage” growth in Germany's demand for solar power systems by the end of the year.
