Renewables developer Invenergy has begun commercial operations at a 300MW solar PV plant in the US state of Texas.

Google and Honda will be among the offtakers of a 1,310MW PV project to be constructed by Invenergy that is set to be the largest solar generation facility in the US when complete.

Virtual agreements include 482GWh-a-year supply from 200MW Texas solar plant and are set to power firm's operations in three US states from next fall.
