450MW Upper Hunter solar PV project secures NSW government approval in Australia

The New South Wales (NSW) government has approved plans for solar developer Lightsource bp’s proposed 450MW Goulburn River Solar Farm, in the Upper Hunter region.

Australia’s first Renewable Energy Zone transitions into delivery phase

The Energy Corporation of New South Wales (EnergyCo) has obtained Commonwealth planning approval for Australia’s first Renewable Energy Zone (REZ): Central-West Orana.

Solar and pumped hydro energy storage projects deemed ‘critical’ in New South Wales, Australia

The NSW government has declared six renewable energy projects, one solar and three PHES sites, as “critical” for the Australian economy.
