China-based module manufacturer, JinkoSolar has claimed its latest high-efficiency PV modules, dubbed ‘Eagle’ have been certified as potential induced degradation (PID) free from an unidentified testing house.
The company also noted that it believed it was the first supplier to undertake the testing using temperatures of 85 degrees Celsius combined with 85% relative humidity. However, the company did not disclose the testing duration.

JinkoSolar said that the Eagle series modules have a 260W peak power output.
“With the introduction of our Eagle series solar modules, JinkoSolar is leading the way in the adoption of new industry standards with PID free modules in mass production,” said Kangping Chen, CEO of JinkoSolar.
