PV power plant meteorology instruments firm Kipp & Zonen has appointed Xander van Mechelen as its new chief commercial officer.
Van Mechelen will be responsible for sales and business development and support new product developments, and also joins the company’s board of directors.

The appointment was partially in response to the departure of Foeke Kuik, former CEO and Patrick Akkermans, former COO of the company. The company noted that it was currently looking for a new CEO.
