Following the take-over Scheuten Solar Solutions found itself confronted with defective junction boxes made by the defunct company.

Scheuten Solar Solutions launched a communication and inspection programme to provide support to former Scheuten Solar Holding customers. However, a further in-depth analysis found that the problem was more extensive than earlier believed.

Insurers acting for Scheuten Solar Holding subsequently decided that the matter should be dealt with by Suncycle, a company which specialises in test and repair services for the solar industry.

Suncycle General Manager, Dr. MischaPaterna, said: “Thanks to our experience and our European network we are able to carry out this repair program. It’s our main goal to prevent future accidents and make sure this junction box problem will soon belong to the past.”
