Leading US PV installer SolarCity is to acquire American module manufacturer Silevo in a major move that could see it producing its own modules within two years.
The PV industry’s largest manufacturer, Yingli Green Energy reported a US$55 million net loss for the first quarter of 2014, compared to a net loss of US$128.2 million in the previous quarter.
SunEdison has signed a master services agreement with PV tracker systems firm, NEXTracker to supply 1.85GW of its tracker systems for PV power plant projects of a three year period.
