Increased orders from PV manufacturers in Asia are responsible for Despatch Industries posting third quarter revenue in excess of US$75 million. Despatch said it had expanded production capacity to meet demand, particularly for thermal furnaces. Lead times have subsequently declined for its range of products, the company said.

“2010 has been a record year for Despatch. Our increased sales revenue reflects the phenomenal growth of our Solar Business Unit and the major orders won by the Thermal Technology and Carbon Fiber Business units in the third quarter,” commented Patrick Peyton, Despatch Industries CEO. “All indications point to this success continuing through the next quarter and well into 2011.”
