ersol adds fourth member to Board

Solar Energy AG has added a new member to its Board, which is currently
made up of CEO Dr. Claus Beneking, CFO Ekhard von Dewitz and COO Jürgen
Pressl. Joining this senior management is Peter Schneidewind (pictured), who was
recently appointed Managing Director of ersol Thin Film GmbH.

Mr. Schneidewind joined the company in 2007 as Director of ersol Modules. He began his career at Schott Rohrglas GmbH, where he was a product developer for solar systems, after which he held a similar role with Ferrofluidics, with responsibility for European sales of the company’s thin film technology. Prior to joining ersol, Schneidewind spent nine years working as principal of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants’ high-tech division. He is a physics graduate of the Universities of Stuttgart, Cornell, and Hamburg and also studied at the Fraunhofer Institut in Frieburg.
