The world record holder for monocrystalline screen-printed solar cell efficiency, Schott Solar, will unveil further new lightweight modules and efficient prototypes Tuesday and Wednesday this week at EU PVSEC in Hamburg.

Presentation topics include: a roof-integrated PV concept study for use in renovating industrial roofs or agricultural buildings, aerospace modules that Schott claims weigh up to 60% less than conventional glass-film modules, yet offer the same strength and are much easier to install, and a solar cell prototype with up to 16% module efficiency and 10% higher power per square meter in comparison to conventional modules.
