First Solar senior executives purchase 5,500 shares of company stock

Five of First Solar’s senior executives, using personal funds, purchased a combined total of 5,500 shares of the company stock during one of four annual open trading windows for the company’s directors and Section 16 officers. The purchases have been reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission in Form 4 filings where appropriate.

Tymen DeJong, senior VP of global operations s, TK Kallenback, president of the components business group and Mark Widmar, CFO, all purchased 1,000 shares of First Solar stock. Frank DeRosa, senior vice president of business development for the Americas, bought 500 stock shares, while Jim Lamom, senior VP of engineering, procurement and construction, led the stock acquisition with his purchase of 2,000 shares.
