Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) has revealed that large-scale solar PV capital costs have fallen by 8% in Australia for the second year running.
Power from the project, which is under construction, will be sold to PGE under a 25-year contract and marketed through its Green Future Impact (GFI) scheme.
Tasmania's first utility-scale solar PV project, the 288MW Northern Midlands Solar Farm, is set to be developed after the signing of an offtake agreement with state-owned utility Hydro Tasmania.
