PV cell manufacturing line at Astronergy Zhejiang Yiwu Manufacturing Base.
Following a ceremony held to mark the rolling out of the first n-type TOPCon PV cells and modules at Astronergy’s Yiwu manufacturing base, the company has officially begun production of its new cell and module products, moving towards its 55GW module capacity goal.
The Yiwu base is the company’s seventh factory and its second largest in Zhejiang province, with a total capacity of 8GW each for cells and modules, all based on the independently developed n-type TOPCon 3.0 technology.
