Astronergy Country Manager for Brazil, Eduardo Gama Tamburus, has shared the background to the company’s establishment of a green supply chain during a panel discussion at Energyear Brazil.
Gama spoke of Astronergy’s four key pillars of green design and recycling, green supplier management, green manufacturing and green data disclosure. The company’s supply chain benefits its upstream and downstream partners in China, Thailand, Turkey and the U.S., and serves as an incentive for its suppliers to grow sustainably and make a positive contribution to the global transition process. By 2028, eight of Astronergy’s own global manufacturing bases will be upgraded to zero-carbon factories.
