DAS Solar has taken part in the 2025 edition of Intersolar South America in São Paulo, showcasing its flagship N-type series products, including the 670W Diamond series DBC (back-contact) high-efficiency module, the 670W N-type self-cleaning module and the 515W ECOSKY lightweight module. With continuous upgrades from TOPCon 1.0 to 5.0, the company had achieved a mass production efficiency of over 27% for its TOPCon 5.0 cells as of June, with an open-circuit voltage reaching 746 mV.
The DBC high-efficiency module integrates TOPCon 5.0 tunneling layer technology with full-contact passivation, representing a major breakthrough. Its unique front busbar-free design eliminates shading losses, significantly boosting conversion efficiency. DBC 3.0 Plus cell efficiency has surpassed 27.3%, with an open-circuit voltage of 747 mV and module power exceeding 670W at 24.3% efficiency. Featuring a sleek all-black aesthetic, the DBC module not only delivers optimal life-cycle generation in specialized applications, but also blends seamlessly into architectural design, making it ideal for premium distributed projects.
The company’s self-cleaning module, developed in-house with a short-edge frame-free design, minimizes sand adhesion and ensures stable operation. Optimized dust-removal channels reduce hot-spot risks caused by debris, protecting long-term performance. The extended cleaning cycle reduces labour costs and water usage, while its innovative “smart self-cleaning” feature brings a transformative O&M solution to Latin America, enhancing efficiency and sustainability across the entire life-cycle of PV power plants.
Catering to Latin America’s high solar irradiation and widespread residential demand, often with limited rooftop load capacity, the company has launched the ECOSKY lightweight module. Weighing only 4.7 kg/m², more than 50% lighter than conventional modules of the same power, it adapts easily to diverse rooftop structures, lowering installation barriers and costs. With excellent energy yield and resistance to humidity and salt-mist corrosion, it is well-suited for tropical, rainforest and coastal environments across the region, ensuring long-term stable returns.
As Latin America’s largest economy and renewable energy market, Brazil has seen PV installations grow by over 30% annually over recent years, with surging demand for efficient and reliable products. DAS Solar’s portfolio is optimized for high-temperature, high-radiation conditions and, supported by its localized service network, provides comprehensive and customized solutions for Brazil and neighbouring countries.
