GoodWe and VP Solar strengthen partnership

By GoodWe

2021 saw GoodWe achieve significant global growth over 2020, with an impressive five-fold increase in its business in Italy. During the same period, VP Solar, a major distributor of energy systems not only in the Italian market, but also across a number of European countries, recorded even higher growth, continuing to offer solutions to its clients during a challenging time of marked global shortages.

Thomas Haering, managing director at GoodWe Europe, commented: “VP Solar is a very important strategic partner for GoodWe due to its extensive sales network and professionalism from both a technical and sales point of view. Our broad product portfolio means we can offer VP Solar and its customers the right solutions for their needs, such as our range of string inverters for the residential market, single-phase hybrid inverters with low-voltage batteries (a perfect residential solution to benefit from the Ecobonus 110%) and three-phase hybrid inverters combined with high-voltage batteries as a suitable installation for apartment buildings. We also have an additional range of high-power three-phase string inverters suitable for commercial, industrial and utility-scale installations.”

Stefano Loro, VP Solar’s founder and CEO, added: “The results achieved with GoodWe during 2021 offer significant prospects also for 2022 and the years to come, thanks to their strength in developing integrated energy solutions. The requirement for buildings to apply such solutions oriented to reduce consumption and emissions increases the component of self-produced energy from renewables. Storage solutions are increasingly becoming an essential element in the energy system, and GoodWe is continuously developing innovative, high-performance and competitive technologies in this field. VP Solar finds in GoodWe an ideal partner, as it is able to provide a wide portfolio and solutions in continuous development, which in turn allows us to take advantage and seize opportunities in a constantly evolving market.”
