Hanersun and the Ark-Nanjing Special Education Centre have co-hosted a community art event in Nanjing, with over 50 students and volunteers painting a spring scene on a 20 metre long scroll. The event was the first stop in the company’s “Lighting Up Tomorrow” corporate social responsibility ( CSR) plan, aiming to promote social connections among special groups through artistic creation.

Coinciding with its 10th anniversary, Hanersun launched its new CSR plan, focusing on education, rural revitalization and social development through partnerships with non-profit organizations.

“Technology measures the energy of light, but today these children reminded us of its warmth,” commented VP Guohua Wu. “Our mission goes beyond delivering clean energy, with this event with the Ark Centre a reflection of what ‘Lighting Up Tomorrow’ stands for—a commitment to people, diversity and shared growth.”

The Ark-Nanjing Centre is a non-profit organization that provides rehabilitation, education and vocational planning for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism and mental disorders. With three daytime training centres and one residential care facility, the organization has brought hope to hundreds of families.
