Hoymiles has participated at the 2025 edition of Intersolar South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, showcasing its latest solar products and innovations, covering residential solar and storage, C&I PCS products and utility-scale containerized battery energy storage systems.
The event also saw significant project collaboration between the company and its Brazilian partners on C&I ESS, consolidating its leading market position in Latin America and representing a new milestone in commercial ESS deployment in the region.
Among products unveiled in Brazil was the new HMS-2250DW-4T microinverter, optimized for high-powered PV modules. It delivers up to 2250 VA of output power and supports PV input currents of up to 18 A for better compatibility with 182 mm and 210 mm modules.
Each microinverter connects to four PV modules, reducing system costs and simplifying system design, while its built-in Wi-Fi enables direct monitoring without a separate gateway. Supported by the Flex-S3 cable system, installation is just plug and play, making the product ideal for scalable and cost-effective solar deployment.
The HYS-7.5LV-USG1 split-phase hybrid inverter was also on display, delivering 97.6% maximum efficiency (97.0% CEC), with a double MPPT tracker supporting up to 32 A MPPT current and a DC/AC ratio of 150%. The 0ms on-grid and off-grid switch promises an uninterrupted power supply, with the 2 times 10s overload capacity ensuring smooth startup for high-surge appliances, offering seamless backup power for whole-home or critical loads.

Engineered for maximum performance and reliability, HoyUltra2 (HESS-261-2h) features a fully liquid cooled system for both battery and PCS, enabling full-capacity operation without derating even at 50°C ambient temperature and 3,000 m altitude, the maximum round-trip efficiency reaching as high as 90.3%.
With a six-type safety protection mechanism, HoyUltra 2 ensures 24/7 secure and intelligent operations. The quiet 60dB operation and IP55-rated protection make it ideal for supermarkets, hotels and residential communities.
The HoyPrime 5MW/10MWh utility-level ESS offers a cost-effective, high-density energy storage solution with a reduced footprint, achieving up to 15% savings in construction costs. HoyPrime also features intelligent liquid cooling to minimize auxiliary power use and extend lifespan, standardized interfaces and automated maintenance simplifying deployment and O&M. Certified to IEC and UL standards, the product is already powering projects worldwide.
Hoymiles also advanced its energy storage deployment through new collaborations, reaching strategic partnership frameworks with the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE) of the University of São Paulo and SAAE Salto, the municipal water and sanitation authority. .
Hoymiles and IEE subsequently held a high-level seminar at the University of São Paulo, with professors Roberto Zilles and Marcelo Pinho joining Hoymiles executives including CEO Yang Bo and CTO Zhao Yi.
Zilles commented: “We aim to advance solar-plus-storage applications in Brazil and build replicable models that will support renewable energy development across Latin America.”
Yang Bo added: “This partnership with IEE marks an important step in driving technological innovation and responding to Brazil’s energy transition. We will continue to strengthen local investment, enhance industry–academia collaboration, and foster joint innovation with IEE to support the country’s sustainable energy future.”
