Huasun has announced the inauguration of its groundbreaking 3.6GW high-efficiency HJT cell factory in Wuxi, the world’s first to produce 210R HJT cells.
During the inauguration ceremony, chairman Jimmy Xu highlighted Wuxi’s position as the birthplace of China’s photovoltaic and semiconductor industries and the company’s long-term commitment to the city as a PV hub.
The Wuxi project, at a total investment of RMB 5.4 billion, marks a significant step forward for the company and is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding RMB 2 billion.
Deputy GM Liu Ruikang signed Memoranda of Understanding with six commercial banks, including Bank of China and Huaxia Bank, ensuring financial support for the ongoing development and project construction at the new base.
