Huasun Energy has showcased its Kunlun series heterojunction (HJT) vertical solar modules at the 17th edition of BATA AGRO, Bulgaria’s largest exhibition for agriculture and related technology.
Georgi Tahov, Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food, spent time on the Huasun booth, expressing interest in the potential of the Kunlun series to deliver both economic and social benefits and highlighting the global importance of integrating clean energy with agriculture, with vertical Agri-PV having the ability to boost land-use efficiency, drive rural development and support the energy transition.
In real-world application, Huasun has already established a strategic partnership with Germany’s vertical PV leader Next2Sun, with several megawatt-scale HJT Agri-PV projects completed in Germany and other European countries. These projects feature wide row spacing to accommodate crop growth and farm machinery, ensuring agricultural productivity is fully preserved.
